Shark attack kills 26-year-old surfer in Northern California

A 26-year-old man was killed while surfing Saturday at a beach in Northern California, officials said. An experienced surfer, he died just as California’s beaches were starting to reopen. It was the first deadly attack in the area in 16 years. NBC’s Gadi Schwartz reports for TODAY.
