WEB Black ives matter’: thousands march for racial justice on 50th anniversary of first Pride March

Fifty years on from the first Gay Pride march, and with the official parade canceled due to the pandemic, thousands of New Yorkers take to the streets for the second annual Queer Liberation March – created in 2019, on the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots. Protesters focused on demanding racial justice, fighting against police brutality, and lifting up voices of the Black Trans community.
