Nala, an energetic Cavapoo from Prosper, Texas, has proven to be a model of persistence as she strives to jump on to her owner’s bed, despite her diminutive size and a recent unsuccessful effort that ended in her bouncing back off the bed. On one of her most recent attempts, Nala was captured by one of her owners, Tyler Day, executing a long run-up before haplessly barreling headfirst into the bed. Day’s mother, Jenny Day, posted footage of incident on Twitter as a testament to the pooch’s perseverance. “As a pup, she was so desperate to get up on our bed that we would often go into our room and find her practicing,” Jenny Day told Storyful. “On this particular day, she discovered that a longer run may catapult her higher so she ran as far back into our closet as she could and started her take-off.” Though the family pet was unsuccessful in her attempt to reach the bed, her owner was happy to report that she came away from the incident unscathed. “The bed has become her favorite place to sleep,” she said. “She worked hard to earn that right, so we will happily share it with her.” Credit: Tyler Day via Storyful
