Sheep Line Up for Chin Scratches at Australian Animal Shelter

Two of the woolly residents at an animal shelter in Lancefield, a town about 40 miles north of Melbourne, Australia, enjoyed chin scratches as the shelter’s owner made the rounds on August 15. Footage starts with Precious, a blind sheep who has been at Edgar’s Mission, a shelter for farm animals, since she was a little lamb. According to the animal shelter’s website, “While Precious may not see the world the way everyone else does, she certainly ‘sees’ it with feeling.” After Precious gets a good pet, the camera turns to the next sheep waiting for some affection. “Sheep love chin scratches!” the shelter wrote when the video was posted on Facebook.
