Bear’s Epic Leap Into a Tree Captured by North Carolina Resident

A black bear showed off its jumping skills by leaping from the deck of a home into a nearby tree in Maggie Valley, North Carolina, video published in mid-August showed. Melissa M Howell captured the moment. In this video, the bear climbs up to her deck and then hops onto a nearby tree before rapidly descending to the ground. Howell told Storyful that the bear, Boo Boo, hadn’t seen her as it scaled her deck but got spooked once it realized it was being filmed. “When he did see me he casually turned and jumped as if he meant to do that all along,” Howell said. “I think Boo Boo just comes for the view.
