Hungry Bear Sits at Picnic Table While Eating Snack in Alpine, California

A hungry bear was captured in a strangely human posture recently at an animal shelter, as it sat at a picnic table while eating a meal in Alpine, California. Bobbi Brink, founder and director of Lions Tigers and Bears, a 93-acre big cat and exotic animal rescue facility, recorded the video at the preserve in San Diego County on August 9. Brink shared the video on the nonprofit’s Facebook page with a caption that read, “Just going to sit here and enjoy my Sunday snack alone.” According to the organization’s website, Lions Tigers and Bears shelters nine bears who were born in captivity and mistreated.
