
A lot of people start exercising only to discover they have no idea what to do, attempt a little bit of everything and then burn themselves out and quit within a week or two. As a beginner, you shouldn’t expect to be bench-pressing multiple plates on your first day. Everyone has to start somewhere, even with exercise.
