Globefish Seeks Help From Freediver After Sediment Sticks to Its Scales

Freediver Jules Casey came to the aid of a globefish in Port Phillip Bay, Australia, after the small fish approached her with sediment lodged in its scales. Footage captured by Casey shows the fish approaching the diver before slowly turning to reveal the trail of sediment. “This adorable little globefish appeared to be asking for help,” Casey said in a post on Instagram. “Maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t.” She added, “It swam up to me, turned around showing me that it was trailing a long line of stuff and then returned so I could remove it.” Credit: Jules Casey via Storyful
