State: Fitness studios not allowed to reopen — yet

Small fitness studios in Sacramento County are getting mixed messages. The county said they could reopen, but the state said they can’t. As more California counties get the green light to expand Stage 2 reopening from state public health officials, gyms and workout facilities are not allowed to reopen until Stage 3, which hasn’t happened yet, according to the state’s reopening roadmap.
