Eric Ross from Cascend Securities says the critical mass of semiconductor supply chain is still in China and for the U.S. to build its own supply chains, the government has to step in and provide financial support. He also argues that the U.S. should focus on building the entire supply chain around one strategically important sub-sector within the industry instead of putting resources all over the place.
