Kids join a “Black Lives Matter” march in New York City

Children draw their own signs before marching through the streets of New York, at a family-friendly anti-racism protest in Brooklyn. “Little black kids shouldn’t feel in danger. That’s just not right,” says 12-year-old protester Lily. Parents at the march say the death of George Floyd that has sparked widespread outrage is an occasion for them to talk about race issues with their young ones: “they’ll know more than we did growing up.”
