The U.S. is ‘not backing down’ on the South China Sea: CSIS

By sending two aircraft carriers to the South China Sea, the U.S.’ latest show of force is aimed at communicating that it is “not backing down” and still has the firepower to maintain its presence in the region, says Gregory Poling of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).
