Caught on video: Off-duty officer rescues man from whirlpool

An off-duty state patrol officer jumped into action after a man fell into the water at Angel Falls in the foothills of California’s Sierra Nevada mountains. Using a strap from his backpack and a branch, the officer pulled the man to safety.
