Carpe diem: Invasive fish feeds hungry in S.Africa’s lockdown

The common carp, an invasive fish species in South Africa, has turned into an unlikely food source for needy coastal communities stretched under coronavirus restrictions. With South Africa’s lockdown now in its fifth month, fish from Groenvlei Lake are helping feed around 250 people per day.
