An escaped emu held up traffic on a Puerto Rican highway on September 30, jogging on a median and slowly strolling across lanes outside the town of San Germán. Jefrey Gonzalez Montalvo of ProJaulasPR, a local business, was traveling along the highway when he spotted the bird walking in the opposite direction. He captured footage of the incident and posted it to Facebook. According to Gonzalez Montalvo, the emu is a pet belonging to a local woman. Credit: ProJaulasPR via Storyful
