Possums Peek Out of Their Queensland Residence to Investigate Homeowner

A brushtail possum has been doing her best to keep her baby hidden from the outside world, as the family stays in their nest box on a deck in the Queensland suburb The Gap, an Australian homeowner said. Homeowner Rebecca Appleton told Storyful that the mom is “very unsuccessful” at keeping her youngster hidden, as “the baby loves to watch what’s going on.” While marveling at how the pair managed to fit in the box, Appleton shared the video to Facebook on October 6 of the two possums peeking out. Appleton told Storyful that she plans to “upgrade” the box for the pair.
