Puppy Licks and Snuggles Cute Emu Chick

A Jack Russell terrier puppy enjoyed spending time with a rescue emu chick in Taroom, Queensland. Josephine Butler was visiting family in the rural area and found the emu and puppy playing with each other. Butler told Storyful that the orphaned emu chick was saved by carers and was taken to a home as the young bird couldn’t survive long without its mother. “After some much-needed care the emu started to take a liking to the Jack Russell puppy and they started playing and napping together, ” Butler said.
