Canadian Bulldogs Keep It ‘Polite’ During Squeaky Toy Tug-of-War

Two bulldogs engaged in tug-of-war at their home in Surrey, British Columbia, took a sportsmanlike timeout during their struggle over a squeaky green ring on Monday, October 26. Footage recorded by their owner Adam Lowe shows nine-year-old Lacey battling with seven-month-old pup Lewis for the coveted toy. Despite the tense pulling and growling from the two dogs, Lowe described their game as “tough yet polite.” At one point, the older dog, Lacey, takes a quick breather as Lewis patiently holds the toy until the elder can get a good grip and resume the fun.
