New CDC guidance says that the coronavirus does not spread easily from surfaces

Commenting on new guidance from the CDC that says that the coronavirus does not spread easily from surfaces, NBC News medical correspondent Dr. John Torres tells TODAY that it means we should focus more on washing our hands that on cleaning containers, fruits and vegetables. He says the main focus needs to be on social distancing: “That’s priority number one.”
