House Democrats this week said they plan to open an investigation into whether the ouster of acting Department of Transportation (DOT) IG Mitch Behm on Tuesday was politically motivated. At the time of his termination, Behm was investigating whether the Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao gave preferential treatment to her husband, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R), and his home state of Kentucky.
